Carbon Upcycling Named to World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers 2024

Carbon Upcycling has been selected to join the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers 2024 cohort! This recognition places us among 100 groundbreaking companies and the only one from Canada chosen for our potential to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Being named a Technology Pioneer is a tremendous honour, reflecting our commitment to innovation and sustainability in carbon capture and utilization.

Each year, the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers community highlights companies that are leading the way in applying new technologies to solve global issues. Carbon Upcycling is proud to be recognized for our efforts in creating a circular decarbonization solution for some of the world’s hardest-to-abate industries. Our innovative technology captures CO2 emissions and transforms industrial wastes into sustainable alternatives to conventional cement blends. This approach not only reduces carbon emissions but also promotes resilience and circularity in supply chains.

As part of the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains, we look forward to sharing insights and working together to accelerate the transition to a net-zero future. The Technology Pioneers community is known for driving the radical changes needed to tackle urgent global challenges, and we are excited to contribute our expertise in carbon capture and utilization.

As a WEF Technology Pioneer, Carbon Upcycling’s CEO Apoorv Sinha will participate in key Forum meetings and discussions throughout the year, including the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2024 in Dalian, China.

Being part of the Technology Pioneers cohort is not just an honour; it’s a call to action to continue pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in carbon capture and utilization. We invite you to join us on this journey towards a zero-waste, zero-emissions world.
